WWE Speed isn't all bad thanks to it's clear purpose

Let’s bottom line this right out of the gate.

WWE Speed, a new show that airs on X (Twitter) every Wednesday, is a money grab on the part of Nick Khan and his Merry Men. WWE doesn’t need this product and the only reason it exists is so the company can continue to squeeze every ounce of content juice out of itself to make the cash register ring. Cha-Ching!

Here’s the thing. It isn’t a bad product, though. I swear, it isn’t all bad and I was rightfully skeptical. After four weeks of braving X for a prolonged period of time, it was clear that WWE has a vision for the product, that it wasn’t to be taken as a joke, and that it was actively trying to be something different than a shortened version of a Raw, Smackdown, or NXT match.
