-It was really nice to see Drew McIntyre turn on the crowd that was loving on him during his championship victory promo. The issue with his title win was that nobody on the announce team sold the fact that he essentially cheated to win the championship. That left things undefined last week. This promo helped right that ship and define things again. McIntyre’s a heel and all is right in that regard.
Randy Orton the safety blanket
-Randy Orton cut a solid babyface promo opposite McIntyre. Standard Orton stuff, but he’s a good and safe Royal Rumble level title challenger for McIntyre.
-As for the Jacob Fatu attack? I don’t get it. Attacking McIntyre makes sense, but it’s odd after fighting off Cody Rhodes just a week ago. He’s clearly going to be in the plans moving forward, but they have to get his character figured out from a perception perspective. Do they want fans to like him or not?
