This was an excellent show for AEW. Much too long — as usual — but after putting a pin in that reality, All Out 2025 was stocked with really good to great matches, interesting finishes, and a main event that fans will remember for a long time.
Here are my Brass Ring Ratings for the event and here’s how they work … I call it like I see it and grade accordingly. Period.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage vs. FTR
Really good opener and on the high end of expectations. This had a really good pace and showed a range of styles. Calculated tag team wrestling at the beginning and then more of a brawling fight by the end. Cope and Cage needed this win, but FTR got their heat back too, so this isn’t over. The Beth Phoenix debut was a nice touch and she really helped FTR get that heat back with the piledriver angle. Thumbs way up.

Eddie Kingston vs. Big Bill
Pretty much what it needed to be. Kingston got a great return pop and then a win. The match was what it was. Bill got more offense than expected, but in the end it was about Kingston because it had to be. Based on the angle after the match, it looks like we are getting a Hook and Kingston tag team? That works.

MJF vs. Mark Briscoe - Tables and Tacks Match
Well, it was a Tacks Match. No question about that. I enjoyed this. When all the tacks came out, I thought I’d get immune to them. That didn’t happen, though. Both Mark Briscoe and MJF were creative enough with them to make many of the tack spots feel fresh. They also eased into the use and slowly built to bigger bumps as the match went along. Smart psychology. Briscoe getting this win is a big deal. MJF doesn’t lose clean very often.

The Hurt Syndicate vs. Ricochet and Gates of Agony
Fine, but too long for it’s spot on the card. Ricochet and Gates of Agony getting the win was a very big surprise. Ricochet has been the bridesmaid instead of the bride for a lot of this heel run in AEW. This win changes that perception a bit.

Mercedes Mone vs. Riho - TBS Championship
A good match, but one that didn’t have the crowd fully invested. Fans in the arena didn’t line up behind Riho as a babyface — like they usually do — and it neutralized the match’s ability to create drama. Mone getting the win wasn’t a surprise, but the straight heel way she won was. Commentary needs to sell that cheating more than they did. It will help with that audience investment issue.

Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Mascara Dorada - AEW Unified Championship
Just fantastic. This was state of the art in terms of action, but also really smart in terms of match flow and layout. The underdog and hope spots from Mascara Dorada were expertly placed throughout this match. Audience bit on the near falls. The backdrop was the Okada and Takeshita material. High level aura from two alphas. That singles match for the Unified Championship is going to be a thing when it happens.

Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin - Coffin Match
Not sure Darby Allin has a spine left after this one. Wow. This was brutal in spots, but lived up to the hyped violence that the feud needed. Moxley getting the win thanks to Pac heelishly getting involved is the right finish to book. Moxley needed the W badly. It also extends the Darby vs. Moxley program, which still has legs to it.

Toni Storm vs. Kris Statlander vs. Thekla vs. Jaime Hayter - AEW Women’s World Championship
A fine match, but the tired crowd made the title change not resonate as great as they should have wanted it to. Beating Toni Storm is a big deal and because of the finish itself and the lack of crowd reaction, it didn’t come across as one.

Brodido vs. Jet Speed vs. Josh Alexander & Hechicero vs. The Young Bucks - AEW World Tag Team Championship Ladder Match
An excellent spot fest and it delivered on expectations. Unique action and a definitive win for Brodido.

Adam Page vs. Kyle Fletcher - AEW World Championship
Tremendous. The match of the show on a show full of good matches. Page and Fletcher were nearly perfect together. The transitions and spots were crisp and all of them made sense for the flow of the match. Fletcher took a crazy top rope Dead Eye bump and nearly landed on his head. Crazy dangerous, but it significantly helped the drama of the match. Page got the win as expected. Also as expected, the performance solidified Fletcher as a top heel. Props for not doing a silly handshake between both guys at the end.
