It’s a question that has been on the minds of wrestling fans for much of 2026. What is Bayley going to do? Stay in WWE? Conquer AEW? Retire?
After weeks away from WWE television, Bayley returned to the company on this week’s episode of Raw and made her presence strongly felt when she pulled the Money in the Bank qualifying opportunity out of the hands of Lyra Valkyria. Valkyria and Bayley used to be tag team partners and friends, but Valkyria turned on her — sparking not only a match between the two, but an intense rivalry that still remains unsettled.
Nobody knows for sure what the future holds for Bayley, but reading between the lines indicates that she’s staying with your favorite pro wrestling corporate juggernaut. Cheers to that. It’s the right move.
Cha-Ching
For everyone that is screaming at their computers right now — yes, I agree, it’s about the money. Every pro wrestler only has one body, so it behooves them to make the most money as they can with it while they still can. It’s significant to point this out because, of course, Bayley should go where the money is. If Tony Khan tacks on a couple extra zeros to his offer, good for her, there isn’t a real bidding war to consider, and off to AEW she’ll go as The Hugger, Davina Rose.
Same thing the other way. If the Nick version of Khan tosses Bayley a wallop of paid time off. Boom. Decision made. Bayley stays with WWE. That’s all obvious.
The situation gets dicier when offers are similar — when WWE, AEW, or other potential suitors are ponying up the same cash and perks to Bayley to get her to join them. That’s the angle to explore here and it’s not a long expedition.
